Dr. Rita Patricia Frimpong-Mansoh is currently the Deputy Programme Manager at the National Tuberculosis Control Programme (NTP) and she is responsible for tuberculosis programme implementation. She was the Municipal Director of Health Services Kpone Katamanso Municipal Health Directorate before joining NTP.
As a medical officer, she worked at Ashaiman Polyclinic and had an additional responsibility as a Referral Clinician for Tuberculosis and helped Established the Ashaiman TB Team, HIV Clinic as well as Diabetic Clinic.
Whiles working in the Greater Accra Region she was a member of the Greater Accra Regional TB Team facilitating Tuberculosis activities in the Greater Accra Region and assists the Region in Surveillance Monitoring activities. Occasionally, she also assisted the National Surveillance Department in National Surveillance Monitoring Activities.
Dr. Frimpong Mansoh is a member of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and is an Alumnus of School of Public Health University of Ghana Legon and School of Medical Sciences Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her research interests include, but not limited to epidemiology of Tuberculosis and HIV and has keen interest in Multi Drug Resistant Tuberculosis as well as community involvement in health care delivery and has a publication to her credit on Evaluation of Tuberculosis Surveillance System in Ashaiman Municipality.
