FELIX KWAME AFUTU [ DIP PH, BSC ENV TECH, MSC EPID ]

A product of Mawuli School, Felix Kwame Afutu pursued Diploma in Public Health for Public Health Superintendents at the Accra School of Hygiene. He also obtained Diploma in Environmental Health Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

 

As the Regional TB Coordinator, he implemented the re-structured National Tuberculosis Programme in the Brong Ahafo Region and was adjudged the best performing region from 1994-2001. He proceeded to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine of the University of London, and obtained Master of Science in Environmental Epidemiology.

 

He is currently the Head of Research Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at the National Tuberculosis Programme. He has conducted a number of operational researches that inform and influence TB control programming.
